5 Campaign ideas for Tots

The original plot of Trains of Thought back when it was a chat room called Dream Train, was that DW, a dream god, aka the Weaver of Dreams, or the Weaver for short was a little different than now.



The original story was that there were 4 or 5 different realms/planets that could be accessed by collecting books and then opening them and physically entering them somehow.  The book, once in the realm, would give you a lot of information and be like an Illustrated Primer (see the book Diamond Age or the wikipedia article on it).  There were going to be 4 books with DW holding a master copy or 5th book.

I don't know who the mastermind villain is supposed to be. I don't know if it's DW or someone else.  Between the time of the creation of Dream Train or Trains of Thought, two things happened.

1. Inception came out, a similar mechanics, but with the sole goal of stealing information from people or planting ideas in their minds.

2.  Doctor Who gained the acronym DW.

The second isn't a big deal, because DW was also Darkwing Duck, so that's okay.  I'm not that concerned about Inception either.  It had some similar elements, most remarkably the use of totems, but the tabletop has evolved beyond most of those concepts.  Also, I kept creating other things.  Even when something backfires or blows up in yoru face, as a writer, you have to move on.
